Abstract painting

I have seen multiple questions about the topic regarding Abstract painting, therefore I will try my best to help to understand about this topic.

I have come across people claiming they are unable to view or understand abstract paintings. There are some clear explanations regarding abstract already, but some are still lacking the knowledge of the topic themselves.

Abstract can be seen not only in the art of paintings, but also in various disciplines, including literature, music, dance and so on.

It is said that just because you own good instruments, does not mean you can automatically make the best music, the same as having a good camera does not mean you can automatically produce a good movie; I believe this is well understood by all.

The same way it goes to having good paints and brushes does not mean you can make abstract paintings. Some people claim “This is a piece of cake, I could do this easily” when it comes to abstract art.

Art is where you create and share your own understandings. A composer uses music to convey its mood such as—sadness, happiness, excitement etc. The same goes for movies and films. For example, a movie is able to portray a historic event back in the 60’s or 70’s in mere couple hours. Just like that, songs can be portrayed in minutes.

In the same way, a historic event or a certain feeling, that cannot be seen with the ordinary eye, is described by the colours, brush strokes, light and dark within a specified surface of abstract painting. What was left out due to a limitation is the essence of abstract, which pushes the viewer to create a thought or feeling.

Therefore are you able to make an abstract painting without any basic rules? Some think it is possible, but it would not be possible to make a perfect abstract painting. I hope this is enough to understand regarding this topic.

Value of Art

Some say that the paintings are expensive. But most of the collectors say that they are far more than cheap.Some choose the paintings by the price. Some by the signature of the artist and do not hesitate to give higher price for the famous artists.As a painter, I believe that the value of a painting cannot be determined by its price.

I am really annoyed and frustrated when it comes to pricing my work of art as for our local market, the price is usually determined by the size of the paintings.

During this hard time, I have reduced the price greatly as I I don’t want the price to be a big burden for the art lovers.

Although the price is reduced, to the value of the art is not reduced. Even if we increase to the price, the value of the art will not increase.

The value of the art will remain to the same depending on the enthusiasm, dedication and passion of the artist who created that work of art.

For me, I consider all my customers who buy my paintings are the ones who support me to continue creating work of art due to their appreciation of art.

The reason of displaying painting at our house

The melodies of gentle breeze sing with the tempo of calm wave while the colours and tones are dancing, together they create a masterpiece unnoticeably and the pleasant piece of art has been created.

An art (painting) can emphasize that we might miss from our view and if you have a painting on your wall surely you and your family will be able to feel that beautiful melodies all times.

Since our planet has been ruined by our own mistakes, the mother nature was getting worst by the loss of forests, hateress and pollutions and we are all tired of everything in our everyday life and sadly we can’t escape from them.

But through art, we can change our mindsets to find the hidden beauty, comfort, peace and be eager to protect them.
We maybe different from colours, views but in deep down we all have a same dream. Peace of our own. Ease off our pains. And the life of spring songs.

I’m not promoting my paintings I’m just simply sharing my inspiration of owning and hanging painting on the wall because one of my folk asked me the reason of displaying painting at our house.

Artist (San Sann) W.Win Han is like a little brother to me since his childhood. I was so pleased to learn that he started painting when we met again in 1990s.

Seeing that he had all the necessary things for drawing, l encouraged him to try oil painting.

After a few months, l had a chance to go to his house and to see his work of art. I was so pleased and astonished to see his colourful and talented works.

Coinciding with the opening of a new gallery, 77 Art Gallery, invited him to submit his paintings.

Together with senior artists and famous artists, San Sann exhibited and sold in many exhibitions. He had set foot in the world of art. His work can be seen in many group exhibitions.

In his work, I have noticed that, he painted according to his feelings.
Sometimes, impressions, sometimes abstracts and sometimes portraits.
As an emotional painter, I have a lot of respect for him.

Nature of the World

The beauty of this God-given nature of the world is amazing.

It’s a pleasure to paint a picture with a paintbrush or a knife. Though we can’t copy all the wonderful beauty in detail, we can still share what we have missed though painting. Though there are many failures and disappointments, I will continue to work hard to find out the beauty of nature.

There are a lot of invisible beauty and pure energy in the world around us. I will try my best to beautify it with love.

There may be many failures.
But I will try.

May life be sweet.
